About the Role (Job Summary)
The Summer Internship Program is 10 weeks long (June- August). It is a paid internship with a remote work preference. McKesson’s Records and Information Management (RIM) team is responsible for the Company’s records and information retention program. As a part of the RIM, you will work with RIM professionals and other stakeholders to help form and implement lifecycle management strategy to continue to improve governance core practices. You will actively participate in two to three projects, at least one of which will be an electronic records project.
· Assist and improve automation in retention for content repositories using best practices and information management principles
· Acquire knowledge of records management practices in a highly regulated and global environment
· Engage with RIM team, other stakeholders, and business units to improve outreach and education
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
The Records and Information management Intern will be responsible for projects related to improving information management and records management strategy at McKesson.
· Ability to apply records retention schedules and information management principles to electronic environments
· Engage with RIM team and business units to meet information management needs by leveraging technology.
· Participate in retention automation project(s). A possible example of tasks: submitting an implementation plan, training machine learning models, and ensuring the training of the model is successfully.
What We’re Looking For (Requirements)
· Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program in an accredited college, university, or law school.
· Minimum GPA of 3.0
· Authorized to work in the U.S.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills
· Strong writing, problem solving and analytical skills
· Knowledge of general records management and information management principles
· Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently
· Strong communicator

Our Base Pay Range for this position
$17.33 – $28.88
