Village Life is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate intern to join our team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the mental health field while contributing to the well-being of our community. The intern will work closely with our team to develop and implement a variety of initiatives aimed at supporting mental health and wellness.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation:

    • Research and develop engaging content for our online resource library, including articles, blog posts, infographics, and videos on various mental health topics.
    • Assist in the creation and maintenance of social media content.
  • Group Facilitation:

    • Under close supervision, co-facilitate small group sessions, such as support groups or psychoeducational workshops.
    • Observe and assist with individual therapy sessions (if applicable and within scope of intern’s training).
  • Event Planning & Coordination:

    • Assist in the planning and execution of agency events, such as workshops, community outreach programs, and fundraising events.
    • Contribute to the development of marketing materials and promotional campaigns for events.
  • Administrative Support:

    • Provide general administrative support to the agency, such as data entry, scheduling, and filing.
  • Supervision:

    • Receive regular supervision from a licensed mental health professional to ensure professional development and ethical practice.
